Meer informatie
Welcome to the 2025 VNEA New Zealand 9-Ball Championship. This year the Championship will attract double ranking points that will contribute to two ranking systems.

The first is the VNEA New Zealand Tour of which the number 1 ranked player will win a spot in the 2026 VNEA NZ team that will compete at the VNEA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas in May 2026. Flights, accommodation, uniform, and entry fees will be sponsored by Massé.

The Championship points will also be combined with VNEA leagues ranking points which are used to select the New Zealand team that travels to compete in the 2026 VNEA World Pool Championships in Las Vegas.

This will be a one-day tournament and will start at 9:00am on Saturday September 20, 2025, at Massé Hamilton. The format will be section play, race to 4, with the top 32 qualifying for post section knockout play. A plate tournament will also be held. The tournament will be played using VNEA rules. Post section races will be decided on the day depending on progress/timing. Doors open at 8:45am.

The field will be capped at 64 players to enable the event to be completed in one day. Entry is $50 for seniors, $10 for juniors and can be made via CueScore. 100 percent of entry fees is paid out in prize money. $1,000 will be added and the winner is guaranteed this amount. This event may be streamed, and broadcast live so dress standard applies. Please make sure you comply with this.

Look out for the remaining tour events: the VNEA West Auckland 8-Ball Championship on
October 4; the VNEA South Taranaki 8-Ball Championship on October 18; and the VNEA Pukekohe 8-Ball Championship on November 8.
