Dresscode | Shirt: Long or short sleeved piquet –club or national federation shirt. The shirt must be tucked in in the Mens division and long enough not to allow bare skin to be visible when stretching. Undershirt or national sweatshirt/tracksuit without hood: Use due to temperature conditions is allowed only by permission of the TD. Pants/skirt & belt: Formal dress pants (or skirt/pantskirt for Women). The use of a belt if pants have belt loops is mandatory. Shoes & Socks: Use of dress shoes or sports shoes with leather or leather-like top and socks is mandatory. |

Welcome to the Nordic Championships 2023 at Kville Biljard in Gothenburg, Sweden!
The Swedish Billiard Federation, in cooperation with the Nordic Billiard Council and the local host, Kville Biljardklubb is responsible for the organization of the event. A total of 32 women representing Sweden, Denmark, Finland, and Norway will participate. •The draw (32-16) will be published on Cuescore Friday 11/8, 21.00. •Schedule women• Accreditation: Friday 18/8, 10.00-12.00 Player Meeting: Friday 18/8, 12.15 Tournament: Friday: 13.30-19.00 Saturday: 10.00-19.00 Sunday: 10.00-14.00 RULES: • Applicable rules are WPA rules but changes can be made and will be shared on Cuescore and communicated to the players before matches start. 10-Ball will be played according to the WPA rules, with break box and alternating breaks. In the women’s division, a race to 6 will be played, but the organizer reserves the right to shorten the races in the loser's bracket by 1 point, should the time schedule suggest that this will become necessary. •Some rules• •10-ball is a ”call shot” game. Every ball, if not obvious, most be called. •10-ball combos does not give a point. If a player makes a 10-ball combo, the 10-ball is re-spotted on the headspot. •All players need to be ready to start their match at least 30 minutes before scheduled time for your match. For example, if your match is scheduled at 12.00, you need to be at the venue and ready for your match at 11.30. •If a player is late to the match• The apponent can make sure the tournament-desc is aware of it. The following rules apply: After five minutes the score will be 0-1 to the apponent. After five more minutes the score will be 0-2. After five more minutes the score will be 0-3. After one more minute it’s a lost of match. •Shot-clock is in play. Shot-clock could be used if a match is slow, a match is after time-schedule or after other matches in the same round. -Shot-clock = 35 Seconds (Time warning with 10 seconds left) -Extension = 25 Seconds (Time warning with 10 seconds left) One extension per rack -After the break-shot the player at the table has 60 seconds. (Time warning with 10 seconds left) •Dress Code• Shirt: Long or short sleeve piquet (polo shirt) – club or National Federation shirt. The shirt must be long enough not to allow bare skin to be visible when stretching. Undershirt or National Sweatshirt /Tracksuit without hoods: Use due to temperature conditions is allowed only with permission of the Tournament Director. Trousers/Skirt & Belt: Formal dress trousers. The use of a belt is mandatory if the trousers are prepared for its use (i.e. if belt loops are present). Shoes & Socks: Use of dress shoes or sports shoes with leather or leather-like top and socks is mandatory. •Seeding According to agreement between the Nordic Countries the seeding is based upon the results from the Nordic Championship 2022 and the respective national federations seeding plus the fact that the seeded no. 1 and no. 2 from the same country will be seeded in different halves of the chart. !!! We are sorry to inform the players under 18 years of age: • There is an age limit of 18 after 20.00. That means no one under 18 years old will be able to join the side-events or stay at the Kville billiardclub after 20.00. It does not matter if they have a guardian with you. •Livescore and Stream: Livescore will be updated from the tournament-desk every 15 minutes and the Tournament Director will confirm the scores on a regular basis.
