2016 Bergen Open 9-Ball

Velkommen til Bergen 24.-26. juni 2016 og den 6. årlige Bergen Open 9-Ball.

STARTAVGIFTER 2016 BERGEN OPEN 9-BALL
NOK 1 200 - De som kan vinne turneringen.
NOK 800 - Elite og topp 4 i Division 1 etter NM 8-Ball. De som kan vinne kamper.
NOK 400 - Divisjon 1 eller lavere etter NM 8-Ball. De som kan vinne enkelte partier, men som ikke kan vinne kamper.
NOK 200 - Spillere som ikke tidligere (før 01.01.16) har deltatt på JL, RT eller NM.

Det vil også bli gjort individuelle vurderinger, da vi vet at noen spillere kan være bedre eller dårligere, men gruppene som er listet opp over er tommelfingerregelen.

OVERNATTING
Thon Hotels har tre hoteller som ligger innenfor ca 8 minutter gange fra spillestedet. Disse er Thon Hotel Bergen Brygge (ca 8 minutt), Thon Hotel Rozenkrantz Bergen (ca 6 minutt) og Thon Hotel Bristol Bergen (ca 5 minutt)

Welcome to Bergen June 24-26th and the 6th annual Bergen Open 9-Ball.

We are proud to announce that this years event is sanctioned by EPBF as a category C tournament, and that it is a ranking event for the Mosconi Cup XXIII.

ANNOUNCEMENT
You can entry up to June 17th at 11:59 pm.

ENTRY FEES
NOK 1 200 – Players that can win the tournament.
NOK 800 – Players that can win matches but not the tournament.
NOK 400 – Players that can win frames but not matches.
NOK 200 – Players that did not play in the Norwegian federations cup before 2016 January 1st.

FORMAT OF PLAY
We will play double elimination 64-16, 128-32, etc. and use the same rules as in Eurotour.
Race to 9
Alternate break
9-ball on spot
3 point break rule
No break box
Dresscode like Eurotour

SEEDING
We have seeded players for this years event. We will seed the same ammount players that will play in the single elimination. I.e. if we use 64-16, 16 players will be seeded.

PRIZE MONEY
All the entry fees goes to prize money and the organizer will add a minimum of NOK 50 000. With this money we hope to raise the prize money on the places behind the winner.

Best female player NOK 2 000.
Added price money NOK 75 000.

But, if there is 100 players entering with an average entry fee of NOK 800, this will be the prize money.

There is also a cup thropy with NOK 6 200 in it, including the added money for 2016 (NOK 1 200).

To win the cup thropy you will have to win the Bergen Open 9-ball three times (in total).

HOTEL
The Norwegian federation have a deal trough Thon Hotels but you are free to use the hotel of your choice.
