Dresscode Dress pants or casual slacks to be worn. Polo or button-down style shirt with sleeves, fold over or vertical collar. All footwears must be dark color, close-toe and normal in style and wear. Shoes with laces must have the laces properly tied. Dark color tennis or walking shoes are acceptable but must be clean and neat.

Welcome to the 2025 Predator New Zealand Men's 9 Ball Championship! Section play starts at 9:00am on Saturday Sept 6th, with post-section knockout play being run on Sunday Sept 7th.
This event will be a 2 life tournament/ race to 8 and we hope to be able to play down to 16 on Sunday. A portion of the pot will go towards the plate event which will be played on Sunday. min $500 to the plate.

Entries will be accepted via Cue Score and will close on Friday Sept 5th at noon. Entry is $80, or $20 juniors U21. Annual membership must be paid to play in this tournament as our online system is now up and running. The annual NZPA membership for seniors in 2025 will be $20, and juniors $10. Membership can be paid at the same time as your tournament entry. If you are already a member of NZPA no extra fees will be charged.

Powered by Predator, the 2025 Predator New Zealand 9 Ball Championships will be played on Predator Apex 9-foot pool tables covered in Predator Arcadia Reserve professional pool table cloth when available. Predator Arcos II billiard balls will be used along with the Predator Arena Billiard Light will also be used on the TV table at Pukekohe. The latter stages of the event will be streamed, and we will provide a link to the stream later prior to the tournament.

All players will be competing for double ranking points that will be used to select a team whenever NZPA is offered entries into international and World Championship events.
