Welcome to the Nordic Championship 10-Ball in Oslo!
General The Norwegian Billiards Federation, in cooperation with the Nordic Billiard Council and the local host, Oslo Biljardklubb, is responsible for the organizing of the event. A total of 16 boys U19 representing Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden will participate. 10-Ball will be played according to the WPA rules, with break box and alternating breaks. In the Men's division a race to 8 will be played, but the organizer reserves the right to shorten the races in the loser's bracket by 1 point, should the time schedule suggest that this will become necessary. The final schedule as well as the draw will be published in Cuescore immediately following the announcement deadline.8 All tables will be updated live by the players, and the Tournament Director will confirm the scores on a regular basis. It will be possible to follow at least three tables per round via live-stream at any time. Schedule Accreditation – Friday 1st February 16:00-17:30 Player Meeting – Friday 1st February 17:30-18:00 Tournament start – Friday 1st February 18:00 Dress Code Dress code B. Irrespective of category/division, the following rules will apply: Shirt: Long or short sleeve piquet (polo shirt) – club or National Federation shirt. The shirt must be tucked in (exception Women) and long enough not to allow bare skin to be visible when stretching. Undershirt or National Sweatshirt /Tracksuit without hoods: Use due to temperature conditions is allowed only with permission of the Tournament Director. Trousers/Skirt & Belt: Formal dress trousers (or skirt/”pantskirt” for women). The use of a belt is mandatory if the trousers (skirt, “pantskirt”) are prepared for its use (i.e. if belt loops are present). Shoes & Socks: Use of dress shoes or sports shoes with leather or leather-like top, and socks, is mandatory. Seeding According to agreement between the Nordic Countries the seeding is based upon the results from the Championship 2018 and the respective national federations seeding.
