A little something about me..

I’m 47 years of age. I come from a little village called Aberbargoed in South Wales. When I was 6 years of age my parents bought me a 4 foot ball table for Christmas. I was so overjoyed. And was hooked instantly. When I was eleven my father started taking me to my local snooker hall. I took to The game instantly and found playing so naturally. and have loved it ever since . At the Age of 13 I started playing for my local pub team the Churn Inn. After a few years I started playing County. And also played on skinners tour & the welsh tour. I made a lot of really good friends. I absolutely loved playing pool and snooker at a decent level. Hence my Pool & snooker mates had given my 2 Nicknames, Stevethecue & cue ball, but unfortunately Due to 2, really bad life threatening car accident in 2005 & 2013 I had to hang up my cue for almost 9 years. In October 2013. I was distraught. After being trapped in my car for 7 hours. and the fire brigade having to cut the roof off. To get me out. But unfortunately Due to the injuries I sustained in the accidents I suffer with sciatica and also have 2 prolapsed discs in my lower back and chronic neck pain, I’m been back playing 8 months now. And I’m loving playing pool again occasionally. Due to the injury sustained I cant practice very often. But Hopefully in the future I can get back to my best. And my ambition is to represent Wales. And be competitive again. And show people after being out for 9 years a can still compete at a decent level. And I'm I'm definitely looking forward to making new friends. And creating loads of memories. 🎱🎱🎱
