Are you ready to automate your rankings?
This page lists the ranking(s) you have created and is also the entry point to manage each ranking, like changing its settings and add/remove tournaments.
Creating new rankings can be done via the "Create" button in the upper right corner. This will bring you to the ranking settings.
Note the three tabs in the top section, Settings (default) - Tournaments - Exclude
Make sure you give the ranking a proper name.
Set the season ( Remember to define you season in the Pro Profile settings [insert link].
Define the branch (American pool, Blackball or whatever)
Select if you want all tournaments to count or just the best results from a number of tournaments.
Sort options
If you want extra sorting options, you now have the option to add a second and a third sorting option in addition to points.
If you add "win score (frames won), this will be used to separate the positions with the same number of points. The same goes for the third criteria.
Simply search and add the tournaments you want to be part of the ranking.
But there is also another easy way to add tournaments to the ranking that we will get back to later when we dive into all the tournament settings.
In short, when you create a tournament, you can define what ranking(s) it should be part of and also set the point system to use.
So when the ranking has been created it's not a page that you have to visit very often.
Multiyear rolling ranking
If you want to manage a long-term rolling ranking, you can simply go to this page and remove the ones that fall out of the list and add new ones.
Important! If you'd like to keep some history, e.g per year, we suggest you make a yearly copy with an updated name and keep the "old" one for history.
In some cases, you might need to/want to exclude players from the ranking.
Here is a post about the use of it.
