Dashboard - Players

Overview of players active in your tournaments.

The "Players page" is an overview of players that have participated in your tournaments and leagues.

Initially, the list is empty when you first come here, but it will gradually fill up as players enter your tournaments and/or you create new player profiles.

As seen in the header picture, you get some key information in the overview, like photo, name, representation if member of a Premium, gender and date of birth. Note that you can also see if the player is a confirmed profile indicated by a badge before the name. See the "Curescore Persona" above.

Best practise in profile management

Over time, we have noticed that all active players find it very interesting to see all their history on their profile page, so there are a couple of points to consider before you create a new profile.

  1. As far as possible, let the players sign up for the tournament themselves. That way you avoid multiple duplicates of a players profile.
  2. If you, for some reason, prefer to add the players to your tournaments yourself, make sure you search for the player's name before you start creating a new profile.
  3. When you have confirmed the player profile doesn't exist (or there are many with the same name, and you do not know which it is) you should, of course, create it. You find the Add/Create button in the upper, right corner.

Search for players in your dashboard

The search field you see in the picture above will do a search among the players in your list. To add a new member to the list, you need to press “Add” and then search his/her name.

Create a new profile

If you want to add a player that has no profile, press the Add/Create.
Search for the player's name, ref. best practise. If there is an existing profile of the player, click the name and add it.
If you get no result, use the link shown below the search field to create a public profile. See picture below.

After you hit "Create a new player", enter the first name and fill in the rest on the next page:

By filling in the email address of the player profile created, you make sure a claim of the profile is very easy for the player in question. Missing email will cause a delay in the claim process.

Detailed player information

From the player list, you can click the player's name and get more detailed information. Unverified profiles will look like the one in the last picture. If the profile was created by you, you can edit the information.

Verified profiles, on the other hand, will show the registered information, but only the player can edit the information. Here is how it looks.

Cuescore Premium setups

For the Premium setups there are some extra features to be found on these pages. Depending on the setup, you might have some options to set region, levels, representation and licenses. More about that in the Premium [Insert link when ready] section.
