Prostar Cup Albania 2° Edition

• The field will be divided into 8 groups of maximum 8 players. In a round robin format, all
players will play each other in each group.
• In the group phase, it's race to 5 (best of 9).
• The best tree of each group will qualify for the Final 24 single elimination phase.
In the single elimination phase, it's race to 9 (best of 17).
• It is an open international event and every participant is subject to the draw.
• The draw will be held on 20 March 2025 at 14:00 Rome time zone.
• Streaming live will be on YouTube on 2 channels (Poolbar table 1 and Poolbar table 2) and in
Tik Tok.
• The Final 24 will be drawn, number 2 of each group against number 3 of another group. the
winner of this match play number 1 of each group.
• There is a maximum of 64 spots. Entries above that number will be put on the reserve list.

9:00-20:00 Final 16, single knock out. It is yet to be announced to which group/time slot each
participant will be assigned.

The game is 9 ball
Alternate break.
Dry Break
Nine in the spot
No time-outs.
Possible shot clock.
Players who are not punctual will be penalized with -1 point.
A match win will be awarded with +2 points, a loss with 0 points.

• The ranking in each group will be determined in following order:
sum of points
frames won against lost frames
head-to-head result
frames won
In the case this does not yet determine a number 1 and 2, a penalty shoot out will determine
the outcome.
