Playing system: Double pyramid to top 16.
From final 16 single elimination.

Dress Code: B: Club shirt with a collar, long dress trousers, dark leather shoes.
Plain black jeans or black pants are allowed.
They will not have breaks, cuts or chains attached.
It is also allowed to wear sneakers, but they must be completely black and without mesh.
Black sneakers made of suede, natural leather or synthetic leather are allowed.

If 5 minutes are exceeded from the announced time of the match, one frame will be lost, after 10 minutes, the 2nd frame, and after 15 minutes the 3rd frame will be lost.
After 16 minutes the match will be lost. Each player will have the right to a timeout of maximum 5 minutes per match, and the referee or the organizer will announce it.

The player who leaves during the break will have to notify the referee.
The referee will shot-clock the time out!
If the player is one second late, he will lose a frame.
The time-out can be requested even if the opponent is going to break and only between racks not during the play.
The player who remains at the table will have to wait in the chair, otherwise the referee will apply the international rules. The unsportsmanlike game will be penalized either by the referee or by the organizer by the international rules of play....

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
All players must be in the hall 30 minutes before the match time, because the matches can start earlier. players have the obligation to check https://cuescore.com/tournament/Mercury+Open/22960975 the start time of each match. This can be changed.
If the players do not check and do not present themselves in time, they will lose the match.
All players will go to the organizer and the referee before the match to validate the dress code. If the equipment does not comply with the rules of the competition, the organizer has the right to refuse the start of the match and to give a win to the opponent, or to apply a fine of 30 euros. The next match the player will have to have the complete dress code, otherwise he will be eliminated from the competition.
