2025 VNEA Waikato Social League Season 2

Welcome to the Tuesday night Waikato VNEA Social League tournaments. These tournaments have been designed to encourage and help new players to join the game of pool and gain experience in a competitive, friendly, and supportive environment.

Weekly entry fee is $10 (including $5 for the end of the year tournament), and the tournament starts at 7pm every Tuesday night at Massé. This season will run from October 7 until February 10, 2026, with the final on February 17, 2026. We will have a break over Christmas/New Year with the last night of play on Tuesday December 16, 2025, and resume the league on Tuesday January 20, 2026.

We will be running section play starting at 7 pm sharp. Depending on numbers, the top 4 from each section qualifies for a post-section knockout, while non-qualifiers will have a plate tournament to play in. Participants earn ranking points for each tournament depending on where they finish. Payouts will be 100% of entry fees, minus the portion put aside for the final.

The final will be comprised of the top 16 players who have played in at least 60% of the weekly tournaments throughout the 16-week season (10 tournaments). Tournament organizing committee has final decision on qualification process. Earned points are applied to this social league only and don't affect any other ranking systems.
