The Biljardären 10-Ball Masters is a series of four tournaments held throughout the year at our local pool hall, designed to bring together both professional and amateur pool players. Modeled after the prestigious US Pro Billiard Series, our event aims to provide an accessible, competitive, and exciting environment for all skill levels.
By incorporating a handicap system and a very moderate entry fee, we ensure that everyone has a fair chance to compete and enjoy the game. This approach not only levels the playing field but also fosters a spirit of inclusivity and community among participants. Join us at the Biljardären 10-Ball Masters, where passion for the game meets fair competition, and every player has a shot at glory. ENTRY FEE Test Event 100 sek, to be paid in cash FORMAT Max 32 participants hcp due to Fargo rate Shot Clock on TV table (dependent on referee availability) Best of 3 sets Winner break SHOOTOUT If a set score is tied at 1-1 after two sets, a shootout will determine the winner. RULES The standard WPA Rules & Regulations will be in use with the following exceptions and additions: The 10-ball does not have to be the last ball pocketed. If the 10-ball is pocketed early as part of a legal and called shot, it is a game win. The 10-ball pocketed on the break, without being called and in any pocket, is a game win. If a player pockets the 10-Ball, and it is the last remaining ball in play, and the player commits a foul in the process, it is loss of game. HANDICAP SYSTEM The following handicap system will be used during all matches Fargo Rate / HCP >679 / 0 (*1) 570 - 679 / 1 470 – 569 / 2 <470 / 3 The hcp relates to the starting point in a race to 5. (*1) If 2 players with HCP 0 meet, the starting point will be 1, so the distance is shortened to 4. The latest Fargorate list from Svenska Biljardförbundet will be used to set the handicap. https://www.biljardforbundet.se/pool/tavling/fargorate Please download and read the whole player information and rules https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pL1f3pVcysHwnP1YZInLqu6K1Jxve82E/view?usp=sharing |
