Ranking order for standings

Expressions used in the sorting

Let us start off with a walkthrough of the expressions used in the standings/sorting.

Points (PTS)
Points you have defined for a Win, Draw or Loss. If you have selected a point per frame won, its included in this calculation.

Wins (WIN)
The number of Matches Won

H2H
Head to head (if two or more players are even after sorting before this)

Frames won / Win score (FW / WS)
The number of Frames won

Frames lost / Loss score (FL / LS)
The number of Frames lost to opponents

Framescore / Score difference (FS / SD)
Frames won minus frames lost

Innings average
Calculated (based on point score divided by no of times at the table)

Highbreak
Best inning in point based disciplines

Frame win average
Frames won divided by matches played

Runouts
Number of break and dish / Runouts

Lag wins
Number of lag/break wins

Set score
Number sets won

There are a number of sorting options to choose from, so most users should find something that fits their need. The alternatives cover all branches, so make sure the one you select is relevant. If High break and Innings is part of the sorting, it's typically more relevant for Snooker and Carom.

Example of sorting

Points, Wins, H2H, Frames won, Framescore, H2H

The sorting will be done in the order they are listed. In the example we sort in this order:

  1. Highest number of points
  2. Number of won matches
  3. Head to Head result (between player with the same position until this sorting)
  4. Frames won
  5. Frame score (The higher positive number, the better)
  6. Head to head once more if there are still players with the same position

NOTE - If you do not award points for a win, it will skip the first sorting option and go directly to the second.
