An essential part of the information you present for players and the audience.
The name and date settings should be pretty straight forward and consist of the following:
Give your tournament a logic and precise name. Visitors to our site and players in general will search for tournament, so keep that in mind. If you run a series it might be a good idea to include a number/date/year.
This is where you enter the start and end date of the tournament. If it happens to be a one day event, make sure that is reflected in the time setting.
Anyone that want to sign up is interested in when they can do it and what is the last date possible.
"Entry open from" - will automatically open for entries at the date and time set.
When the deadline is reached, the tournament will close down the signups. Some are afraid to use the entry deadline.....don't be one of them. If a player can't manage to sign up before the entry deadline, so be it. Next time they will sign up in time.
Usually you don't have to think of the timezone, as it has a default setting, but check the first time.
Organizers with international activity should always make sure the timezone is changed to the local timezone. This is mostly relevant for Premium setups.
