Did you know you can add Cuescore events into your own private calendar?
On any player and organization page you have a "share" button. From this button you can actually link the player/organization's events into your own calendar using the iCal standard. Not only that, but as events are updated, your calendar will update as well. Neat, huh?
For example, I am using Google Calendar for keeping track of my private stuff, family matters, work events and whatnot. Sometimes I need to check if what's on my schedule is conflicting with an event I'd like to attend or keep track of. Now, by adding the events published by my local club or my national association to my calendar I have a full view of what's going on.
Not only that, I can add my own events to the calendar to. When I sign up/join an event in Cuescore, my private calendar will reflect that too. Also events I just decide to follow will appear.
So, for a typical player I would advice to add your own Cuescore calendar to your Google Calendar (or whatever other calendar progam you're using). And also your local club and/or national federation. That way, you can see everything going on directly from your calendar app. With direct links to the tournament from there.
Personally I've added a lot of organization's calendars to mine, as it is very easy to turn them on/off in the Calendar interface as you need them.
