CueScore teams up with the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships to bring livescoring to pool fans around the world. Every table will update scores in real-time using CueScore scoreboard technology.

Official statement from the organizer of U.S. Open:

"The US Open 9-Ball Championships is pleased to announce that we will be working with the well respected company, CueScore.com, disseminating real-time U.S. Open 9-Ball match results to pool fans around the world."

Dreams do come true

Hopes of reaching a dream or a milestone is part of every companys life. One of our milestone achievements has been to be involved in the U.S. Open, as it is one of the largest, most respectable events in the world, with a long history. For american pool, it does not get bigger than this!
Now, only two years after we launched the site, we've already reached that goal, and we can't wait to actually see it in action! It's beyond our wildest expectations!

We are very proud to be working with the U.S. Open 9-Ball organization to bring livescore from all matches out to pool fans around the world.

Livescore setup

Every table will have a tablet assigned to it, where the players themselves update framescore as the match progress. This is reflected real-time on the tournament page itself, which you find in the live section on CueScore. The setup couldn't be easier.

CueScore representation

CueScore is represented on site by Mr Gino De Ruyter, to many known as the organizer of the Deurne City Classic in the Netherlands. His company, De Ruyter IT, delivers a livescore service for billiards, based on CueScore technology. In short, he delivers tablet scoreboards, complete setup of the system and onsite support during billiard events of any size. We're confident the livescore is in safe hands.

We also have our consultant Damianos Giallourakis playing in the event. Americans might recognize him from working with Darren Appleton's World Pool Series this year.

If you visit the U.S. Open, feel free to get in touch with any questions you might have about CueScore or the livescore setup.

Best of luck to the players from all of us at cuescore.com!
