The Oceania Championships return with the 2025 Oceania Champion winning a spot to represent Oceania in 10-Ball at the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China! Representing Oceania is subject to the player being eligible to represent the region.
The 2025 Oceania Women’s 10-Ball Championship will take place from Friday February 28 to Sunday March 2, 2025. Section play will be hosted between Massé Pukekohe, and either Massé Hamilton, or Pool and Blues on Auckland’s Northshore (depending on entry numbers, which will be capped). Post section play will take place at Massé Pukekohe on Sunday March 2. Entry for the event is NZ$125 for all players. The winner of the women's event will have their airfare paid to attend the 2025 World Games in Chengdu, China. Accommodation is provided by the organizers. The 2025 World Games takes place from August 1 to 17, 2025. Any surplus entry fees will be paid out in prize money. Should the women's entry fees not cover the winner's airfare, the shortfall will be covered by entry fees from the men's event. Massé is sponsoring the venue and streaming so 100% of entry fees will be paid out. Section play for the event will be a race to 5. Post-section knockout play will feature progressively longer races. The post-section play of the men's and women's tournament on Sunday will be broadcast/streamed live. Entries will be accepted via Cue Score and will close on Friday February 14 at noon. This will enable organizers to complete and publish the draw early so that players have ample time to book accommodation close to where their section play is scheduled to be played. Powered by Predator, post-section knockout play of the 2025 Oceania Men’s and Women’s 10 Ball Championships will be played on Predator Apex 9-foot pool tables covered in Predator Arcadia Reserve professional pool table cloth. Predator Arcos II billiard balls and the Predator Aerorack billiard triangle will be used throughout the tournament on all tables. The Predator Arena Billiard Light will also be used on the TV table. |
