Scotch Double Tournament

Starts: Friday 06.10.2023 at 18:00 (06.10.2023, 17:30 registration deadline)
Dress code: Casual
Entry fee: 30 euro/team
Format: Single elimination (max 24 teams). Race to 5.
Prizes: 1 Place – Free entry in main event for both winner players. Medal + Sponsor gifts.
2nd Place – Medal + Sponsor gifts.
3rd-4th Place – Sponsor gifts.

Match starting time:
If 5 minutes are exceeded from the announced time of the match and one player is not present at the tournament table, the missing player will lose one frame, after 10 minutes, the 2nd frame is lost, and after 15 minutes the 3rd frame will be lost.
After 16 minutes, the missing player will lose the match.

Time out:
Each player will have the right to a single timeout of maximum 5 minutes per match, and the referee or the organizer will announce it.
The timeout can be requested only between racks (not during the play), no matter who is breaking next.
The player who remains at the table will have to wait in the chair; he cannot practice at the table. If player leaves the table during the opponent’s timeout, it is considered that player also took his timeout.
The referee will shot-clock the time out!
If the player is late from timeout, he will lose one frame.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
All players must be in the tournament hall 30 minutes before the match time, due to the fact that the matches can start earlier. Players have the obligation to check scoring website https://cuescore.com/ for start time of their match. Start time can be changed.
If the players do not check and do not present themselves in time, they will lose the match.
All players will go to the organizer and the referee before the match to validate the dress code. If the equipment does not comply with the rules of the tournament, the organizer has the right to prohibit the start of the match and order the correction of the dress code, or to apply a fine of 20 euros. If player refuse to correct his outfit, the referee will declare the opponent as the winner.

The unsportsmanlike conduct will be penalized either by the referee or by the organizer according to the international rules of play and specific situation.
