As there are 25 runners the format for the day will be first round group stage followed by straight knockout stages. In the group stages it will be alternate break, race to 5, 9 on the spot and 2 ball at the back. There will be five groups of 4 and one of 5. Top two from each to go through, plus the third place in the group of 5 and the three best 3rd places from the group of fours.
Knockout stages will be winner breaks, 9 on the spot and 2 ball at the back. A race to 7 until the final, which will be a race to 9 winner breaks. |
