Welcome to the 2024 Predator New Zealand Women's 9 Ball Championship! Section play starts at 9:30am on Thursday November 28th, with post-section knockout play being run on Friday November 29th. Take Thursday and Friday off work and have a long weekend of pool with the NZ 10 Ball Champs taking place on November 30th/December 1st
Section play will be held at Massé Pukekohe and Pool and Blues (if we have over 48 entries). This information will be made available once the draw is done so you will know where you are playing on Thursday 28th. Section play will be a minimum of race to 4 but may be greater dependent on entry numbers. Knockout play will be held at Massé Pukekohe on Friday 29th. Hand racking will be done using Predator Aerorack, and breaks will be alternating, Entries will be accepted via Cue Score and will close on Tuesday 26th at noon. Entry is $50, or $10 juniors U21. Annual membership must be paid to play in this tournament as our online system is now up and running. The annual NZPA membership for seniors in 2024 will be $20, and juniors $10. Membership can be paid at the same time as your tournament entry. If you are already a member of NZPA no extra fees will be charged. Powered by Predator, the 2024 Predator New Zealand 9 Ball Championships will be played on Predator Apex 9-foot pool tables covered in Predator Arcadia Reserve professional pool table cloth when available. Predator Arcos II billiard balls will be used along with the Predator Aerorack billiard triangle. The Predator Arena Billiard Light will also be used on the TV table at Pukekohe. The latter stages of the event will be streamed, and we will provide a link to the stream later prior to the tournament. All players will be competing for double ranking points that will be used to select a team whenever NZPA is offered entries into international and World Championship events. |
