Tournament Rules
1. Membership
• Player Registration R100 per Player
• Team Registration R100 per Team
• Club Registration

2. Team Structure
• 5 Player Teams (Max 10 Players registered per team)
• MAX 8 Players per match
• Player not allowed to play an opponent more than once in a match (Referred to the reserve coming in)
• Reserves may come in and out in a match

3. Points
• 3 Points for a win
• 0 Points for a loss
• 1 Winning Bonus Point if your team score 17 and more
• 1 Loosing Bonus Point if your team score 9 and more
• Log position determined by
POINTS-WON-FRAMES WON-FRAMESCORE-H2H

4. Regulations
• Eight Ball International Rule Set (Pool South Africa 8-Ball rules)


5. Scoring
• Each player will play each player 3 frames
• Lag determine break – there after alternate break
• Team will score 1 point if you score 2 or 3 frames
• No reserves may come in during a Match
• Reserves must be notified prior to set start
• 5 Sets in a game
• 3 Frames in a match

6. Dress Code
• Team Golf Shirt – all teams to be uniform
• Dress pants or jeans must look uniform
(Example: your team can’t mix light blue and dark blue jeans)
• No Caps, beanies, or scarfs
• No takkies, sandals or crocs
• ONLY Black or Brown shoes.

7. Prizemoney
• All players to be present at prizegiving
• Team finishing top of the log will host prizegiving and single Championships
• Prizemoney as per advert

8. Marketing
• As from 1 May all teams should printed/sublimated new shirts or embroided sponsor logos on old shirts. Minimum 80mm x 60mm
Logos.

9. Timing
• All matches to start 10h00
• All matches must have a shot clock keeper (60 seconds per Shot)
• 30 Seconds warning
• If a player not at the table he/she has 5min to report or the match will be forfeited 3-0


10. Singles Championships
• 1 Frame Knock-out tournament all the way
• Lag determine the break
• 1st – 2nd and -Semi-Finalist will receive prize money as per advert.

11. Referee
• No separate Referees
• All matches the opponent would conduct the referee duties when he/she not in play.

12. Postponement
• A request to postpone a match must be done minimum 1 week prior to match.
• Relevant Captains must email the League Manager with reasons and request.
• Suggested that teams register more than the minimum players required per team

13. Score Cards
• Photos must be taken and sent to the league manager on the same day match took place.
• 1 Penalty point for each late submission of scorecard.

14. Equipment
• Tables must be played on the same cloth and colour.
• Ball sets must be the same.
• White balls to be supplied by the Home Team.
• Each venue must have a cross (x-rest) available.
• Max table fee should be R5 a match.
