We are so excited to bring the up and coming pool players a chance to compete in a professional environment. This tournament will be played at The Bank Shot Bar & Grill in Laurel. Maryland. Full Kitchen, AC, and friendly staff! 🙂 All matches will be played using 7ft Diamond Tables and Dyna|Spheres Platinum Edition Balls.
We have 40 discounted hotel rooms reserved for our traveling players. Detailed information is listed out below.

PLAYER SIGN UPS - To register for the event and get on the list please comment on the discussion list. 🙂
· The field will be capped at 128 players. (64 in each age division)
· The divisions this year will be as follows
· 20U & 16U
· This year you may register and play in both tournaments. Meaning if you are 15yrs old you may play in both the 20U & the 16U.
· Top Female Award for the female junior who goes the furthest in each division.
· Entry fee: $75 includes a $15 admin fee
This year you do not have to pre-pay to get on the list. We are using the honor system, if you say you are coming "WE BELIEVE YOU" and you can pay once you arrive. 🙂 Please bring cash as we will not be taking electronic payments at registration.

EVENT RULES - This event will mostly use the official rules of the WPA which can be found at the URL below. Any rules that deviate from the WPA rules will be listed out below.
· WPA RULES - https://wpapool.com/rules-of-play/
· Races to 7 (A-Side), Races to 5 (B-Side)
· Players will Alternate breaks each rack
· RYO
· True Double Elimination
· 9-Ball does not count on break
· Three-foul rule in effect
· Push Outs Allowed
· Must lag for the break. (No coin flip)
· No Three Point Break Rule
· No All Ball Fouls
· No Concessions on the TV Table
· Dress Code will be enforced, details listed below
· A random Pattern will be drawn by video the night before the tournament and that will be the pattern everyone must use. On day two a separate pattern will be drawn.
It is the player’s responsibility to be aware of all rules, regulations and schedules applying to competition. While tournament officials will make every reasonable effort to have such information readily available to all players as appropriate, the ultimate responsibility rests with the player.

DRESS CODE - As we work hard to evolve the sport of pool it is very important for the players to be dressed in a clean and professional manner. Players not following the dress code will not be allowed to play.

Collar Shirt
Sponsored Jersey
Dress Pants (Any Color)
Dress Shoes (Any Color)
Dark Dress Sneakers

Not Acceptable to Wear:
No Sweat pants
No Hats (While Playing)
No Hoodies
No Athletic or Basketball Short
No Cutoff jeans
No Flip Flops / Sandals and absolutely no White Sneakers.
Dress code at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

· Doors open at 9:00am
· Player Registration from 9am-9:45am
· Players meeting will begin at 10:00am
· Calcutta at 10:15am and play to start immediately after

DISCOUNTED HOTEL - BSN Media has reserved 40 rooms at a discounted rate for those of you who will be traveling from out of town! Rooms will go fast so make sure to book your rooms early! Make sure to mention “Dyna|Spheres Cup” when reserving your room for the weekend to receive the discounted rate.
