Jim MacDonald Memorial 9 Ball Tournament (Group Stage)

On Sunday 20th January I will be running the 5th Jim MacDonald memorial 9 ball tournament and this is open to current and former league players, Jim's friends and locals only.

As some of you know our friend and former league player Jim passed away a few years ago now and in his memory we set up the memorial tournament. This year is the fifth memorial tournament. Jim played in the league on and off over a number of years and always enjoyed himself and had a good laugh along the way and brought a smile to many a face.

Jim always played with a smile on his face and enjoyed himself whether win, lose or draw. So this is a good competition for everyone to come along and enjoy some good pool, whether you are a league player new or old and for those that knew or played Jim over the years to play some pool and share some memories.

Now for the comp details.
• Entry fees to be paid advance
• Doors will open at 11.15am with play starting at 11.30am on Sunday 20th January.
• The format for the day will be first round group stage. Followed by straight knockout stage.
• In the group stages it will be alternate break, 9 on the spot. Races to 5.
• Knockout stages will be winner breaks, 9 on the spot and a race to 7 until the final, which will be a race to 9 winner breaks.
