New tournament for the Chichester area, to encourage up and coming and players that play on more of a casual basis to get involved.
Open to players that are getting into pool but not quite ready to enter some of the tournaments that already exist. My discretion will be used to determine if allowed to enter. This is not based on any particular Division or League, but to give you an idea we wouldn't allow Top Standard Div 1 players in, and is really meant for your average standard player and casuals. Event Details: 16 participants, single elimination 1 day mini-knockout event Blackball rules (same as Chi league) First round is randomly drawn Round 1: Races to 5 frames (best of 9) Q Finals: Races to 5 frames (best of 9) S Finals: Races to 6 frames (best of 11) Final: Race to 7 frames (best of 13) race lengths may be shortened if time becomes constrained on the day Where & When?: The Woolpack Inn, Fishbourne, PO19 3JJ Saturday 24th February 2024 - 12.30pm start Will be a live stream in play, with both tables in use Prizes: Winner - £250 + Trophy Runner Up - £100 Semi Finals - £30 Costs: £30 entry fee per person (payment secures place) 15% rake taken for comp organisation, running, streaming & trophy How to enter: To enter, join our Facebook Page & Group and comment on the post there. When confirmed by me, you will need to then pay your entry fee. Please do not send money until I confirm you are allowed into the tournament, this is to ensure only lower level players can enter. Players must be 16+ due to licensing laws. |
