Grootbrak Ultimate Pool Competition
When: Every Saturday Where: Searles Village Starting Time: 14:00 Entry Fee: R100 Yearly Registration Fee: R50 per player, payable to S. Jolly Format: 1st Round: Round Robin (Race to 1) - 2 teams of 5 players max/4min - Only the top 4 players from each team advance to the quarterfinals. - Minimum of 8 players, maximum of 10 players. 2nd Round: Tournament - Quarterfinals (Race to 2) - Semifinals & Finals (Race to 3) How to Book Your Spot: - Book every Monday from 20:00 - Friday 20:00. Early bookings before 20:00 will not guarantee a spot. First come, first served. - Rules: International 8 Ball rules + Golden Break & Golden Duck applies. - 1 spot reserved for a competition coordinator (Shaun Jolly, Shane Herbst, or Johan Carstens). - Players who withdraw after booking will be put on the stanby list for the next competition. Points per game and Payout After 10 Competitions: 1. 25 points 2. 18 points 3. 15 points 4. 12 points 5. 10 points 6. 8 points 7. 6 points 8. 4 points 9. 2 points 10. 1 point Misconduct: - The Competition Coordinator, venue owner, and management reserve the right to prohibit players who engage in misconduct or fail to adhere to fair play principles. - Misconduct will result in match bans: 1st offense = 1 match ban, 2nd offense = 2 match ban, and so on.
