Grootbrak Ultimate Pool Competition

Entry Fee: R100
Yearly Registration Fee: R50 per player, payable to S. Jolly

Format:

1st Round: Round Robin (Race to 1)
- 2 teams of 6 players max/8min
- Only the top 4 players from each team advance to the quarterfinals.
- Tiebreakers: If the 4th, 5th, and 6th place players are tied, a single-frame match or a 6-ball shootout will determine the 4th place.
- ⁠Minimum of 8 players, maximum of 12 players.

2nd Round: Tournament
- Quarterfinals (Race to 2)
- Semifinals & Finals (Race to 3)

How to Book Your Spot:
- Book every Monday from 20:00 - Friday 20:00. Early bookings before 20:00 will not guarantee a spot. First come, first served.
- Rules: International 8 Ball rules + Golden Break & Golden Duck applies.
- 1 spot reserved for a competition coordinator (Shaun Jolly, Shane Herbst, or Johan Carstens).
- Players who withdraw after booking will be disqualified from the next competition.

Points per game and Payout After 10 Competitions:

1. 25 points, R1750
2. 18 points, R1260
3. 15 points, R1050
4. 12 points, R840
5. 10 points, R700
6. 8 points, R560
7. 6 points, R420
8. 4 points, R280
9. 2 points, R140
10. 1 point, R70

Additional Payouts:
- R700 from each competition day will be added to the main purse, which will be paid out after every 10th competition based on player rankings from 1st to 10th.
- The remaining money will be distributed to the 1st (R300) and 2nd place (R200) winners on the competition day.

Misconduct:
- The Competition Coordinator, venue owner, and management reserve the right to prohibit players who engage in misconduct or fail to adhere to fair play principles.
- Misconduct will result in match bans: 1st offense = 1 match ban, 2nd offense = 2 match ban, and so on.
