Norges Biljardforbund ble stiftet 20.11.1981 og tatt opp som særforbund i Norges Idrettsforbund på Idrettstinget 24.04.1994.

Norges Biljardforbund har det overordnede ansvar for biljardidretten i Norge, herunder alle de tre grenene pool, snooker og carambole.
