KLAIPEDA OPEN 2026 – REGULATIONS
General Information Klaipeda Open 2026 - September 11–13, 2026 Venue: Black Ball, Klaipeda, Lithuania Organizer: Lithuanian Pool Federation Discipline: 9-Ball Sanction: EPBF Category D THE EVENT IS INCLUDED IN THE EPBF RANKING SYSTEM. Matches are played under WPA / EPBF rules. This event is open to all participants regardless of category – men, women, seniors, wheelchair athletes, and youth. All matches will be played on Dynamic III/IV 9-foot tables with fresh Ivan Simonis 860 cloth. Entry Maximum 96 players. Entry fee: €100. Registration via CueScore. Entry Fee Payment Entry fee can be paid by bank transfer only. We recommend to register earlier to secure your spot on a first come, first served basis. After this date, entry fees are non-refundable, except if a replacement player is found or in exceptional circumstances approved by the organizer. Prize Fund Guaranteed minimum prize fund: €5,000. With a full 96-player field, the projected prize fund is €8,000. Prize money is paid to Top 16 players. Projected payout structure with a full 96-player field: 1st – €2,500 2nd – €1,500 3rd (x2) – €700 5th–8th – €450 each 9th–16th – €100 each Additional prize money may be added depending on the number of participants and sponsorship agreements. The final prize distribution will be published after registration closes. Format Double Elimination to Last 32, then Single Elimination. Race to 8 (Double Elimination), race to 9 (Single Elimination). Alternate break. Schedule Friday – Start 10:00. Saturday–Sunday – Continuation of the tournament. Ranking Ranking points are awarded to the Top 32 players according to EPBF Category D rules. Additional Players must be present 30 minutes before matches. Matches may start earlier. Shot clock may be introduced at any time. Streaming and Media Rights A minimum of three tables will be streamed throughout the tournament on YouTube. Selected matches may also be shared on official social media platforms and partner channels. All streams will be available free of charge. By participating in Klaipeda Open 2026, players grant the organizer the right to use their name, likeness, photographs and video footage for promotional, reporting, streaming and marketing purposes without compensation. Matches may be photographed, recorded, streamed or broadcast by the organizer and official media partners. Publicity and Funding The event is partially funded by the state budget of the Republic of Lithuania, administered by the National Sports Agency. |
